You won’t believe what West Ham are trying to do with Niclas Fullkrug now. West Ham United signed Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
Niclas Fullkrug arrived at the London Stadium with a big reputation, but he has proven to be a disastrous signing for West Ham thus far.
Fullkrug has already been linked with an exit from the Hammers due to his injury problems and lack of suitability to Premier League football.
The former Dortmund man was a strange signing from Tim Steidten in the summer.
West Ham were crying out for some explosive pace and proper movement through the middle before the start of the season. Steidten’s failure to bring in a striker like that has left us looking so pedestrian inside the final third.

Fullkrug was the wrong signing, we all know that.
However, the Hammers’ next move regarding the 31-year-old might just compound the issue…
You won’t believe West Ham’s new Niclas Fullkrug plan
The big German has experienced a nightmare few months in East London so far. He will be desperate to play more now, after rediscovering his fitness.
It seems like the West Ham hierarchy have already made their minds up on Fullkrug though.
il Bianco Nero claim that whilst Fullkrug has actually been offered to Juventus, the Italian giants don’t actually want him.
That sums up the state we’re in right now, and it seems like the transfer team at the London Stadium have finally realised what a catastrophic mistake they made in the summer by signing the German.

Now, I don’t think we should have signed the 31-year-old in the first place, especially not for £27.5 million!
Jhon Duran should be a West Ham player now. If only the board would have coughed up the money for the Colombian, the Hammers could well be flying in the Premier League with the electric Colombian leading the line.
However, that obviously didn’t happen, and we’re stuck with Fullkrug instead.
Letting Niclas Fullkrug leave in January would be bizarre. The good news is that he opened his goalscoring account for West Ham last week.
The Germany international has only just returned from injury – an Achilles problem that kept him out for more than two months.

Surely we need to give him a proper run of games now – let’s see what he really has to offer. Giving up on him so soon and trying to flog him to Juventus is a strange move if you ask me.
Yes, he has been a hugely disappointing signing so far, but we may we well try and get the most out of him now.
At the very least to ensure that he holds his value up until the 2025 summer transfer window.
I can’t see Niclas Fullkrug still being at West Ham beyond the end of this season. However, we may as well try and get as much use out of him until then.
Selling him for a nominal fee or loaning him out in January would make no sense whatsoever to me, and it would just compound our issue.
The Hammers should keep Fullkrug for another six months at least, but sign ayoung and pacy striker in January as well.
