The 49-year-old is as normal as they, considering he earns mega-money and is the manager of a Premier League team.
And that feeds into the narrative we need at the club right now. West Ham United need a group of well-rounded characters, all pulling in the same direction.
Graham Potter is definitely as down to earth as they come, and he proved that by heading from north to east on the Jubilee Line.
We can disregard the bit where the man of the people was probably heading back to his luxury penthouse apartment in Canary Wharf. But let’s not let the truth Get in the way of a good story!
