‘You could see the quality’ Max Kilman admits he’s been really impressed by two West Ham players. Two West Ham United players in particular have already made a big impression on new-boy Max Kilman. Signed for £40 million from Wolves last month, Max Kilman will undoubtedly be a permanent fixture for West Ham this season and beyond.
It has actually been claimed that he’s even under consideration to become the new Hammers captain. Kilman has been joined at the London Stadium by a plethora of additional new signings. It really has been all change at the club this summer.
Julen Lopetegui has been a man on fire in the summer transfer window so far, and has brought in eight new players, including the pending arrival of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The really exciting thing is that the Hammers head coach isn’t done yet either. We can expect more new arrivals at the club over the next couple of weeks, as well as some outgoings.
What a squad the Spaniard is assembling, with plenty of incredible new signings to compliment the vast array of sensational talent we already had at the club.
Max Kilman really impressed by two West Ham players
The 27-year-old former Wolves man has played every game for us during the pre-season campaign, and he’s looked very solid indeed. Whilst many players have looked off the pace, he can hold his head high heading into the new Premier League season.
It was great to see some of our first-team regulars start their first pre-season game of the summer yesterday as well. The performance from the team was certainly a better one all-round, and it was a far more cohesive display, that’s for sure.

Kilman opened up on the 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo, when speaking to WHUFC.com. And the central defender had huge praise for two of his teammates – Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta.
The centre-back said, “You could see the quality we have up front and just to watch them two (Paqueta and Bowen) combine for the two goals was really nice to see.” Bowen scored one and provided an assist against Celta Vigo, whilst the same can be said for Paqueta.
Both players were on fire, especially the Brazilian, and they made a huge difference to the fluidity of our attacking play. The Hammers fans are absolutely buzzing right now ahead of the new season, with so many talented new players arriving at the football club.
However, it was two of our old stalwarts who were the most impressive players on the pitch yesterday, as West Ham centre-back Max Kilman rightly highlighted.
Hopefully they will both spearhead a prosperous campaign on all fronts for the Hammers.
