Yannick Bolasie now makes surprise move eight years on from 2016 Crystal Palace exit

Former Crystal Palace forward Yannick Bolasie has made the latest move in his storied career, this one was unexpected.

Before and after playing for Crystal Palace, Yannick Bolasie had always been a play prone to making a move.

The DR Congo international enjoyed for years of stability at Selhurst Park before he went back to his journeyman ways.

Now, he’s signed for a new club on the other side of the world.

Here’s what we know about Bolasie’s new club…

After being released by Swansea many were pondering as to what the next move would be for Bolasie and few could have predicted this.

This is the 25th time Bolasie has made a move in his career (including loans), and he’s now looking like one of the most well-travelled players worldwide.

With his qualities and playing football the way it’s supposed to be played, he could fit right in down in Brazil.

Yannick Bolasie stats for Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace signed Bolasie for just £540k back in August 2012, he then remained at the club for four years until 2016, when he was sold for a whopping £28m to Everton.

But in this time, he made 144 appearances for Palace which included 13 goals and 30 assists along with becoming a real cult hero thanks to the exciting style he brought.

Palace was arguably the best period of Bolasie’s 15-team career which now sits him in the Brazilian Serie A.

Along with being a hero at Selhurst Park, Bolasie has also made 50 appearances for DR Congo which has led to him scoring nine goals.
