‘Where’s that come from?’ – O’Hara & Cundy stunned by ‘Unbelievable’ West Ham development

Jamie O’Hara and Jason Cundy stunned live on talkSPORT by ‘unbelievable’ West Ham United development

Jamie O’Hara and Jason Cundy were stunned to see West Ham have moved up to sixth in the Premier League following the victory over Manchester United on Saturday (23 December).

Speaking to a Hammers fan on talkSPORT, O’Hara said it was a “solid win” for David Moyes’s side, but admitted that he had to check the table was right after seeing the East Londoners’ position.

Cundy added that it’s “unbelievable” as he believes the Irons have “gone under the radar”, with goals from attackers Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus securing a 2-0 victory over the Red Devils at the London Stadium.

“It’s a solid win for you, you’re up to sixth in the table,” O’Hara told the West Ham fan. “I had to check that again just to make sure, West Ham sixth. Where’s that come from?”

“It’s gone under the radar,” added Cundy.

“It’s unbelievable,” said O’Hara. “The Carabao Cup was disappointing, but they’re sixth in the table and beat Man United 2-0.”

“That’s unbelievable, I don’t know how that’s happened either,” replied Cundy.

“I swear the table is lying,” added O’Hara.

LONDON, ENGLAND – AUGUST 23: West Ham fans look on during the Premier League match between West Ham United and Leicester City at The London Stadium on August 23, 2021 in London, England.

    Strange

It’s been a very strange season for West Ham as there have been some really disappointing results alongside some excellent victories for the club.

While it wasn’t the most exciting display from the Hammers against Man United, the most important thing is that they picked up the three points that take them up to sixth in the Premier League table.

It comes as speculation is still ongoing around the future of Moyes as many of the fans haven’t been entirely convinced by some of the performances during this campaign.

After the Scotsman decided to make six changes for the 5-1 defeat against Liverpool on Wednesday, the players simply had to react and that’s exactly what they did against the Red Devils.

There is no doubt that just about everyone associated with the Irons would’ve taken this at the start of the season alongside being through to the knockout rounds of the Europa League.

In other West Ham news, Simon Jordan has hit back at Jim White over David Sullivan questions.
