West Ham United want Oliver Skipp amid new Tottenham transfer twist. West Ham are keen on securing the services of Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp who’s also wanted by a number of Premier League sides, according to HITC.
The news outlet reported on 18 August that Leicester City, Everton, Nottingham Forest, Ipswich Town and Southampton all want to sign the 23-year-old. A deal worth £20million plus £5million in add-ons is currently being discussed between Spurs and Leicester with the North London side willing to sell him.

Skipp’s signing could be beneficial for the Hammers due to his proven track record in the Premier League, where he’s shown maturity beyond his years with Tottenham, displaying qualities like tenacity, tactical awareness and the ability to play under pressure.
His experience in the North London derby and his development under various managers at Spurs suggests he could quickly adapt to Julen Lopetegui’s system, bringing both energy and skill to their midfield.
However, at £25million, the transfer fee seems steep for a player whose role at Tottenham has been more of a squad player rather than a first-team regular. This valuation might be justified if Skipp were to become an immediate first-choice midfielder, but considering West Ham’s need for value in their signings, especially with other positions requiring attention, they may skip this deal.
