The TYC Sports journalist reported on 29 August that talks are ongoing between Sevilla and the Hammers for the Argentina international. With the contract being offered, the 30-year-old is evaluating it ahead of making a decision. Via X, Grova wrote: “West Ham opened negotiations with Sevilla to sign Lucas Ocampos.
“The winger received the club’s contractual proposal and is evaluating it. Monterrey is optimistic about his signing.”
