Mohammed Kudus is probably the most valuable asset we have at West Ham United, alongside Jarrod Bowen.
West Ham signed Mohammed Kudus from Ajax in the summer of 2023, for a fee believed to be worth around £38 million.
On the whole, the 24-year-old has been exceptional for the Hammers, and he is now being linked with a mega move to Arsenal.
It would be no surprise to see Kudus move on from the London Stadium at some point in the future.
He’s perfectly suited to the robust nature of Premier League football, and has the potential to reach the very highest level of the game.
That said, he’s far from the finished article.
So could Kudus carry on at West Ham for some time still to come?
West Ham fans will be buzzing after what Mohammed Kudus said
Kudus hasn’t been anywhere near his best for us this season.
However, he is still very much the most dangerous attacking player we have at the cub.
When he’s on form, he’s unplayable, and the Hammers fans absolutely love him.
It seems like the feeling is mutual.
When speaking to WHUFC.com, Kudus suggested that there is one thing in particular that he loves about being in East London:
“The West Ham fans. They’re very proud, passionate, and always support the team. Whether we are playing at home or away, they always turn out in big numbers.”
That’s so great to hear.
Kudus’s future is far from certain at the London Stadium, so the fact that he loves playing in front of the Hammers fans is a massive boost to our hopes of keeping hold of him.
Who knows what will happen in the future, but if we can match his ambition, then there’s no reaosn why we won’t be able to keep him at the club for at least one more season.
Mohammed Kudus offering high praise for the West Ham fans proves that he is happy at the club right now.
Whether he’s happy playing under Lopetegui is another matter entirely though.
