West Ham face depressing stats when they meet Forest this afternoon as after taking 10 points from a possible 12 in their opening games they have now lost five of the following seven top-flight games, including each of the last three. 
The BBC has also revealed that this is their longest losing run of games in the Premier League since they collapsed to five consecutive defeats at the end of 2022.
Worse still possibly is the fact that we have dropped points in all three league fixtures this term that have immediately followed a Europa League game (D1, L2). So we really should be aware that the Thursday/Sunday routine is a tough act to manage although as the manager said at his presser ahead of the game it is a desirable scenario to be involved in Europe.
It’s to be hoped, though that we can finish at the top of Group A and have a real break over Christmas and January. But back today and David Moyes could draw level with Harry Redknapp who suffered 238 Premier League defeats as a manager should the Hammers be beaten today.
