Major Jhon Duran update comes to light and West Ham simply now just need to pull the trigger. Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran is believed to be a priority transfer target for West Ham United this summer.
Jhon Duran first emerged as a West Ham target earlier this summer, when it was claimed that we made a £35 million bid for him.J
Julen Lopetegui is desperately in need of a new striker to take over from Michail Antonio, and Duran may well be the man for the job.
It has been claimed that Villa could demand around £45 million for the talented 20-year-old striker (Football.London).
However, it has also been suggested that they could accept a lower up front fee, with a higher sell-on percentage clause.

The Hammers haven’t got an endless pot of cash, so one would assume that Villa will have to significantly lower their demands for the Colombian forward.
Now though, it seems like Duran himself could be prepared to help force a transfer to the London Stadium…
Jhon Duran update emerges and West Ham must pull the trigger. Lopetegui’s hunt for a new striker could well be coming to an end soon.
That’s because the Aston Villa centre-forward is preparing to help West Ham facilitate his move from the West Midlands to East London. So according to a report from Give Me Sport, Duran is set to tell Villa that he wants to join the Hammers this summer.

That’s great news because he’s just what we need – a young and physical centre-forward with bags of potential.
The South American forward is literally the perfect player for our team, and more specifically, the system that Lopetegui likes to implement.
The South American starlet has bagged eight goals in 49 games for Aston Villa, but it is his all-round game that will appeal most to Lopetegui.
The 6ft 1in striker is extremely strong in the air, possesses really impressive pace and is more than capable of leading the line on his own. He runs the channels with aplomb, and always works hard to create space for his teammates with his unselfish movement.
The Colombia international slotted in between Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus, and just in front of Lucas Paqueta, is a scintillating prospect.
If West Ham manage to wrap up a deal for Jhon Duran this summer, we will be a frightening attacking outfit next season.
