Wan-Bissaka agrees West Ham United personal terms as Man United hold-up emerges. West Ham have agreed personal terms with Aaron Wan-Bissaka but a new issue with Manchester United has emerged, according to HITC.
The online source reported [8 August] that, while the two parties have agreed on a £15million fee plus £3million in add-ons, the 26-year-old’s remaining year at Old Trafford is causing a hold-up.
It is understood that Man United wants the player to lose out on some of the funds remaining on his contract, but Wan-Bissaka is insisting he receives a full payment before moving to the London Stadium.
If a deal cannot be agreed for the full-back, the Hammers could turn to Girona’s Arnau Martinez or Newcastle United’s Kieran Trippier, though Wan-Bissaka is the first choice.

The Wan-Bissaka has been an ongoing saga for several weeks at the London Stadium, with potential moves for Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters and Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui falling through in that time.
The former Crystal Palace right-back has failed to live up to expectations after leaving Selhurst Park in 2019, arriving at Old Trafford on a £50million deal [BBC Sport], yet his quality has always remained.
He has made 190 appearances for the Red Devils, but with no more than 20 Premier League starts in each of his last three campaigns, a move to London could reignite his career.
While Vladimir Coufal has been a regular figure in the West Ham starting XI, Wan-Bissaka could very much threaten his position in the team, as well as Emerson at left-back.

The 26-year-old, although naturally a right-back, has been known to deputise on the opposite flank, which could push both of Julen Lopetegui’s full-backs to push themselves and compete for their spots.
With the player in the final 12 months of his contract at Man United, the Hammers look to be moving towards a very decent full-back signing, but the player must solve his current issues first.
