Lucas Paqueta could finally be on his way out of West Ham if a January transfer goes through at the London Stadium.
The Brazilian has been linked with a move away from East London in recent months with South American outfit Botafogo showing an interest in a potential deal [The Sun on Sunday].
Despite this, no transfer has gone through and the 27-year-old generally struggled to find his feet under Julen Lopetegui’s management.
There is a chance that the ex-Lyon man’s fortunes could improve under Graham Potter but may be scuppered by a potential incoming transfer.

The Brazil international completed a move to the London Stadium for £51million in 2022 [Sky Sports] and has gone on to be a successful signing for the most part.
With that being said, the attacking midfielder does represent one of the Irons’ best players and regularly has other clubs interested in his signature.
Even if this is the case, Potter may look to bring in a new winter signing who could take the former Flamengo star’s place in the side.
Ben Jacobs has reported (9 January) that the Hammers are among the suitors for Carney Chukwuemeka who looks set to depart Chelsea this month.
Despite a potential loan move to Strasbourg being on the cards, a move to once again link up with Potter could be an attractive prospect for the 21-year-old.
If the Irons look to bring the Englishman in on an initial loan, there is every chance that there will be assurances over his minutes in the second half of the season.
This could open the door for Paqueta to leave as the ex-Aston Villa starlet could begin to take priority.
