Roshane Thomas believes this is a plausible move should the Egyptian leave the Reds next summer, and if Arne Slot’s team decide to meet the asking price, it is difficult to see Sullivan turning a big deal down.

Of course, the Lilywhites were put off the move completely by this eye-watering number, but if Liverpool were to lose Salah ahead of next season, they may have no choice but to splash the cash.
Sullivan has already been hammered for his greediness this season, especially when it comes to the ticket prices at the London Stadium, so it remains to be seen where the owner draws the line. £150million could be too tempting not to cash in on, even if he is one of the most loved figures at the London Stadium.
While that kind of money could help the Hammers reinforce the squad in several areas during the summer, supporters would be in full meltdown mode if this decision was made.
