Utterly shocking new update emerges on injured West Ham star after return date exclusive

Utterly shocking new West Ham update on Michail Antonio after return date exclusive. First West Ham star Michail Antonio defied death now he’s defying medical science in his recovery from a broken leg sustained in a horrific car crash.

West Ham and Michail Antonio have both come out and admitted the striker is lucky to be alive right now. When Antonio’s silver Ferrari skidded off the road and hit a tree at Epping Forest in December, word quickly spread on social media.

There were rumours Antonio would be lucky to survive. West Ham had to ensure his entire family knew the situation before they could comment publicly on the matter.

Thankfully Antonio survived when the wreckage suggested a very different scenario that doesn’t bear thinking about for the Hammers ace.

The broken limb he suffered in that crash was the least of his concerns as the father of a young family. Antonio turns 35 at the end of next month. So it was assumed by many he would never play football again, let alone for West Ham.

Utterly shocking new Antonio update emerges at West Ham. Especially with his contract expiring at the end of the season as things stand.

Antonio shared a picture and an emotional post on his discharge from hospital last month.

The heart-rending post showed the forward known for being a powerful, muscle-bound menace looking understandably gaunt and a shadow of himself.

The picture seemed to back up suggestions Antonio would not be back until the end of 2025 at the earliest. But Antonio has spent his entire career – from non-league to Premier League – proving people wrong.

And he’s out to do just that again.

Because the West Ham star is defying medical science in a sensational update after our Hammers News return date exclusive.

Miracle man Antonio already running again in Hammers training. Last weekend Hammers News brought you an exclusive from the club stating Antonio has been pencilled in for a possible West Ham return for the last two games of the season.

It came as images of Antonio looking powerful and strong again emerged from his rehabilitation in the Middle East.

Graham Potter revealed ahead of the Arsenal clash that Antonio was returning to Rush Green to continue working on his recovery.

And the manager all but confirmed Hammers News’ exclusive by saying the focus – without any pressure from the club’s side whatsoever – is on a return after the March international break. Antonio has left one and all flabbergasted at his miraculous return efforts thus far.

Superhuman effort keeps Antonio on course for comeback date

According to Goal, Antonio is now back running just three months on from his devastating car crash that resulted in his broken leg.

    Antonio really is superhuman.

Providing there are no setbacks or hiccups in his recovery, Antonio is more than hopeful of being back in time to face his former club Nottingham Forest on May 18th.

That is then followed by Ipswich away on the final day of the season a week later. Antonio will be desperate to prove he still has what it takes to play football and at the top level.

That may not necessarily be with West Ham beyond the summer with the club facing a big contract decision. But whatever happens it will be a fairytale end to an awful season for the Hammers and their striker.
