While Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur are apparently interested in Harvey Barnes, Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are said to be the preferred destination.
According to The Northern Echo, Harvey Barnes is available to be purchased from Leicester City in the upcoming summer transfer window by Newcastle United, Aston Villa, West Ham United, and Tottenham Hotspur.
According to the source, Newcastle and Leicester are in advanced negotiations to acquire Barnes, who was labeled “unbelievable” by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp in the February 2021 issue of Metro.
Additionally, the winger himself reportedly wants to transfer to the Magpies.
Barnes is reportedly “keen to join” Newcastle, who will make a first offer for the England international in the coming days, according to The Telegraph.
