UEFA make complete U-turn in huge twist and it’s great news for West Ham

UEFA change stance and award West Ham ace Mohammed Kudus another goal from 3-1 Europa League win over Backa Topola

UEFA have seemingly awarded Mohammed Kudus with West Ham United’s first goal during our win over Backa Topola in the Europa League on Thursday night.

West Ham beat Backa Topola 3-1 in the Europa League a couple of days ago, with Mohammed Kudus getting off the mark with his first goal for the club

That was obviously great for the Ghanaian, but there is even better news for him today.

It seemed like Kudus, 23, had scored the equaliser for the Hammers, but the goal was later taken off of him and adjudged to be an own goal.

However, the former Ajax man now has two goals to his name…

UEFA change stance on Mohammed Kudus goal

It seems as though European football’s governing body has decided to award the first West Ham goal of the night on Thursday to the 23-year-old.

The 66th minute strike has been changed from an own goal to Kudus’s on UEFA’s Europa League official website.

That’s a huge boost for Kudus himself and the club in general.

He should get a massive lift in confidence from having two goals to his name already, and a fully firing Kudus can only be a good thing for West Ham.

The Ghana international may not yet be up to full speed for the Hammers, but the two goals from Thursday night will help him greatly.

UEFA’s decision to make a U-turn on the Mohammed Kudus goal will do him the world of good in the long run, I have no doubts about that.
