West Ham player wanted by two rival clubs, ‘multi-million sale possible’ Saudi Arabian clubs Al-Ittihad and Al-Qadsiah are two sides chasing a deal for West Ham United forward Luis Guilherme, according to The Sun.
The news outlet reported via its website [15 January] that the rival pair are interested in a deal for Guilherme after it was previously claimed West Ham were in talks with a Saudi Arabian club over his multi-million departure [The Times].
Guilherme has struggled for game time at the London Stadium, with all signs pointing towards a multi-million-pound winter sale for the man who only arrived last summer.

Failed transfers have been somewhat of a focus at West Ham over the past few seasons and Guilherme certainly fits into that category, having played just 38 minutes of Premier League football.
Given the absences of several attacking players, that looks even more concerning and Graham Potter’s decision to substitute Vladimir Coufal on over him against Fulham summed everything up.
He wasn’t a cheap signing, either – the Irons spent a decent chunk of money on the attacker, only for him to find himself on the bench even in times of desperation.
The winter window provides not only an opportunity to offload him and recoup some of the finances involved in the deal but to also reinvest that money into the areas that need addressing.
However, there will undoubtedly be questions over Steidten’s ability to do that as effectively as possible given the large number of failed transfers throughout histime at the club.
