Tottenham player ‘drives everyone crazy’, multiple clubs want him in January
Tottenham Hotspur signed Alejo Veliz from Rosario Central at the start of the season.
The 20-year-old Argentine striker has struggled for regular game time at the north London club and he is being linked with a loan move away from the club in January.
A report from El Crack Deportivo claims that multiple clubs are keen on signing the Argentine attacker and the player ‘drives everyone crazy’. It is clear that there is genuine interest in the 20-year-old attacker who is highly rated in South America and it remains to be seen whether Spurs are prepared to him out during the second half of the campaign so that he can get ample game time.
He is yet to start a single Premier League game for Tottenham and he has played a total of 17 minutes for them in the league. The player has made six first-team appearances in the Premier League as a substitute and he will want to play more often.
£25m injured Tottenham Hotspur player is about to return to group training
Tottenham Hotspur could soon have Ryan Sessegnon back in action for the first team.
That is according to Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold, who has given an update on the injury status of Sessegnon.
So, what has been reported about Tottenham Hotspur player Ryan Sessegnon? Let’s take a look.
Positive injury news on Ryan Sessegnon
Well, Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold has said that Ryan Sessegnon will return to group training at Tottenham Hotspur in the next week or two.
Gold gave the update on his podcast this past Saturday following Tottenham’s win against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League last Friday evening.
Of course, it is likely to take a while for Sessegnon to get fully match-fit, but that it is very positive news that he will return to training with his Tottenham teammates in the coming days.
Gold said on the Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham podcast: “Ryan Sessegnon is set to kind of return to group training in the not-too-distant future, in the next week or two.”
Ryan Sessegnon a good option for Ange Postecoglou
In my view, Ryan Sessegnon would be a very good option for Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou to have in his squad.
I believe that Sessegnon’s versatility makes him a valuable player. The 23-year-old can play as a left-back, left wing-back or left-winger.
Destiny Udogie is the number one left-back for Spurs at the moment, and given how good he has been, it is hard to see him lose his place in the starting lineup.
But, you never know. There could be injury issues or suspension. I believe that Sessegnon could be able to fill in at short notice.
The £25 million (BBC Sport) Englishman has been on the sidelines since February due to a hamstring injury. He has been very unfortunate with fitness issues at Spurs.
But, we know that Sessegnon is a very good and promising player. I think that if he stays fit, then the 23-year-old coulde be a big player for Spurs.
