Tottenham will take on Shakhtar Donetsk and Barcelona before opening the campaign against Brentford in two weeks‘ time.

Tottenham have been back at their Enfield Training base in north London after their tour of Asia that saw them travel to Australia, Singapore and Thailand.

The trip saw them play against West Ham and Lion City Sailors while the game against Leicester was cancelled due to wild torrential rains. Captain Hugo Lloris was left out of the entire trip as he looks to leave the club this summer.

Spurs took 31 players for the trip but 24 played with returning midfielder Tanguy Ndombele picking up an injury scare in training and not taking part in any of the games.

Manager Ange Postecoglou admitted Ndombele had some issues that have kept him but revealed he was back in training. He said: “Tanguy [Ndombele] was the other one who’s been a slow burner but now he’s back training so he’s available as well. So yeah in terms of health-wise, I think everyone’s fit.”

Another midfielder who has had health issues is Oliver Skipp with manager Ange Postecoglou publicly admitting the young midfielder will be part of his team next season despite his struggles

.Oliver Skipp also spoke about getting back to full fitness having been struggling in the last few days: “Physically I feel like I’m in a really good place, no issues. “The aim is to keep it that way, to prevent any issues. I feel like I’m past all of those and ready to really push on.”

Another midfielder who looked to have picked up a knock in the game against Lion City was Yves Bissouma but the test later revealed it was just fatigue with the Malian expected to play a role when they face Shakhtar Donetsk this weekend before travelling to Barcelona for the final test game ahead of the new season.
