Hugo Ekitike not in Paris Saint-Germain squad as West Ham United want transfer
Hugo Ekitike is not part of the Paris Saint-Germain squad anymore, with West Ham wanting to sign him, according to ESPN.
The publication reported on its website on Thursday (21 December) that the striker refused a move to Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer.
The 21-year-old has made just one appearance all season, featuring for just eight minutes in the opening game of Ligue 1 against FC Lorient.

“Striker Hugo Ekitike (June 2027) is not part of the squad anymore after he refused to move to Frankfurt last summer and has interest from Lyon and some English clubs (Fulham, Brentford and West Ham),” according to ESPN.
January move on the cards?
West Ham can be proud of their recent transfer history, with the Hammers bringing several talented players to the London Stadium.
The summer transfer window threatened to be a disaster for the East London club after Declan Rice made the move to Arsenal, with fans becoming increasingly anxious as the weeks went on following the loss of their captain.
But David Moyes and the powers that be eased those fears with a handful of top signings, with midfield duo James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez arriving, along with attacking ace Mohammed Kudus.
They have all hit the ground running immediately in claret and blue, and could be joined by further talents next month.
Moyes addressed the right issues last time out, and he needs to do the same this time, with the striker position undoubtedly an area that needs improving.
And Ekitike may just be the right man to bring in, with the player needing a new lease of life after his issues in Paris.
