West Ham United striker Michail Antonio says the football Tottenham Hotspur are playing under Ange Postecoglou is ‘flames’.
After five Premier League games, Tottenham are unbeaten in the Premier League game, playing some of the best football in the league and scoring goals for fun.
That included Ange Postecoglou’s side scoring in the 98th and 100th minute to beat Sheffield United over the weekend in the most dramatic of fashions.
It has left West Ham star Michail Antonio gobsmacked, as he added that the football they are playing is ‘ridiculous’, as he told The Footballers Football Show.
Richarlison was a key reason behind that Spurs win over Sheffield United, with Michail Antonio previously mocking the player, but he had something different to stay this time around.
Either way, after Harry Kane’s exit, things are looking on the up for a Spurs team that hasn’t even shown the smallest of signs that they miss their club-record goalscorer.
“Tottenham are flames,” said Antonio. “The football they are playing right now is ridiculous. This manager has them playing unbelievably.”
