Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with a move for Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez this summer.
After weeks of speculations, the Lilywhites are now set to hold talks with Gimenez’s representatives in the coming days, according to Mexican outlet Fox Sports.
The Mexico international is thought to be aware of their interest but he’s only focused on pre-season training and will delegate meetings about his future to his entourage.
Juventus, AC Milan, RB Leipzig and Arsenal are all keeping tabs on his situation following a prolific season in the Eredivisie.
Santiago Gimenez price tag
Gimenez is expected to cost forthcoming suitors around £42m this summer, which seems a pretty reasonable asking price.
The 2001-born striker netted 26 times whilst laying on eight assists across all competitions for the Dutch outfit.
If he were to join Tottenham, it’d be regarded as a real coup considering the amount of interested parties around the continent.
