‘Explosive’ attacker in dazzling form is ‘likely to join West Ham in January’. A hugely talented player could be en route to West Ham United either in January or next summer it seems.
Julen Lopetegui enjoyed a fantastic summer transfer window at West Ham, but he did fail regarding one specific mission.
The Hammers head coach was desperate to bring a young, pacy centre-forward to the London Stadium in the summer, hence his protracted pursuit of Aston Villa starlet Jhon Duran.
However, West Ham missed out on the Colombia international in the end, and signed Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund instead. The German’s tough start to life with the Hammers has been well-documented already, and now Lopetegui may well already be looking to solve that particular problem.

A stunning move could be on the cards for a lethal forward in January.
‘Explosive’ attacker is ‘likely to join West Ham in January’ So it seems like Lopetegui is lining up a move to sign an extremely quick and agile striker in the January transfer window.
I still think Fullkrug will come good for us, but it will be nice to have another option up front. According to a report from TEAMtalk, Omar Marmoush is most likely to join either West Ham or Crystal Palace this summer, in spite of interest in his signature from Liverpool and Arsenal.
However, the kicker is that he could cost as much as £40 million.
The Hammers owners baulked at paying that fee for Jhon Duran this summer, so it’s doubtful that they will commit to that kind of cash for someone who’s unproven in the Premier League.

Marmoush has been described as ‘explosive’ by the Bundesliga’s official website.
Meanwhile, the same website has already highlighted his ‘dazzling form’ for Eintracht Frankfurt this season. Oumar Marmoush perfect for West Ham. If there’s one thing we’re missing in the striker department right now, it’s explosive pace – something that Marmoush has in abundance.
The 32-capped Egypt international has bagged three goals and three assists in four games in all competitions for Frankfurt so far this term.
Last season, he racked up an impressive 17 goals and six assists in 41 appearances. Marmoush possesses blistering pace, incredible movement and his has a real eye for goal.
The Egyptian is 25, but he is vastly experienced in playing at the very highest level of the game, having made 192 appearances already.
The added bonus of signing the Eintracht Frankfurt ace is that he can play on either wing as well. If West Ham sign Omar Marmoush in January or next summer, I will be over the moon. However, I still doubt that we will pay anything like £40 million for him.
