Rapid winger Wilson Odobert is being lined up as an exciting replacement for a departed West Ham duo claims a journalist.
West Ham – eventually – waved goodbye to Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals this weekend.
Benrahma has joined Lyon in a £5.1m loan deal with a £12.3m option to make it permanent.
And Fornals has left West Ham to return home to Spain with Real Betis for an undisclosed fee.
Hammers boss David Moyes has admitted he wanted to sign a left-sided attacker before Thursday’s deadline.
West Ham fans were disappointed by the lack of arrivals after seeing Thilo Kehrer, Conor Coventry, Benrahma and Fornals offloaded.

Only Kalvin Phillips was signed with many questioning whether West Ham even needed another central midfielder.
The Irons will now be prime candidates to spend big in the summer as Gary Neville predicts a transfer splurge.
And it seems they already have a target in mind to fill that left-sided void.

Scottish journalist Alan Nixon counts Hammers boss Moyes as a close contact.
And The Sun reporter has claimed on his Patreon that West Ham have already made an inquiry about signing the jet-heeled French teenager from Burnley in the next window.
West Ham do, however, face competition from Brighton for the 19-year-old.

“Burnley face a fight to keep French flier Wilson Odobert – with West Ham and Brighton chasing the exciting winger,” Nixon states.
“Hammers are keen on left winger Odobert as they plan to replace Said Benrahma and Maxwel Cornet. They have already made an inquiry.
“Burnley will be hard pressed to keep Odobert if they go down. The Clarets will need to sell and he is shaping up as their main asset.”
Odobert, a signing from Troyes, has scored five goals and laid on an assist in 11 starts for Burnley.
He has impressed with his supreme pace and attacking intent and has been likened to Jeremy Doku.
It’s just a shame the Hammers could not bring in the talented young winger in what proved to be a difficult January window across the board.
