POSTECOGLOU IS WILLING TO SELL A £42M TOTTENHAM PLAYER AS THE BOEHLY CLUB MOVES IN.

Tottenham Hotspur have given Davinson Sanchez to hold talks with both Spartak Moscow and Strasbourg as he seeks an exit.

Davinson Sanchez appears to be nearing a move away from Tottenham Hotspur amid talks with two clubs.

That is according to 90Min, who claim that Tottenham have given the green light to Sanchez’s potential exit.

It’s stated that Russian side Spartak Moscow and Ligue 1 outfit Strasbourg are both in negotiations to sign Sanchez this summer.

German clubs are also thought to be interested in signing Sanchez with Tottenham happy for him to go.

Davinson Sanchez needs to leave Tottenham Hotspur

Sanchez was a major signing for Tottenham back in the summer of 2017.

The Colombian centre back had impressed with Ajax, helping them reach the Europa League final.

Spurs forked out £42million to sign Sanchez, striking a then-club-record deal to bring him to North London.

Sanchez started well for Spurs and often played in a back three alongside the more experienced Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.

The 27-year-old seems to have lost confidence in recent years though and hasn’t looked convincing in a Spurs shirt for a while.

This doesn’t excuse the booing Sanchez suffered against Bournemouth in April, but it’s time for Sanchez and Spurs to go their separate ways.

Sanchez just isn’t going to play a key role under Ange Postecoglou and needs to get out and play first-team football to get his career back on track.

Todd Boehly’s new club could sign Sanchez

A move to Strasbourg would see Sanchez work under Patrick Vieira, who was recently appointed as their new manager.

This is a new era for Strasbourg who have been taken over by BlueCo – the consortium led by Todd Boehly.

That means Strasbourg have become a partner club of Chelsea and we can expect to see some Blues talents head to France on loan.

A little more experience may be needed though and Sanchez could be seen as a player who can help Strasbourg move forward.

Beating Spartak won’t be easy but Boehly has a knack of getting his man – and Sanchez could be next.
