Player ‘not hiding’ annoyance after ‘downgrade’ following West Ham exit
Said Benrahma played over 150 games for West Ham and while he scored 24 games for the London club, his spell wasn’t one that stood out.
This led to his exit from West Ham to Lyon, where he’s played only twice in the current campaign.
The French side picked up a shock defeat to 10-men Marseille at the weekend and Benrahma wasn’t even part of the squad for that clash.
There’s growing annoyance for the player at how things have developed since his move from West Ham.
L’Equipe have looked at the aftermath of Lyon’s defeat to Marseille, and a growing unease at the club, specifically with manager Pierre Sage. Rayan Cherki and Alexandre Lacazette seemed annoyed following the loss, and it’s stated Benrahma is having a ‘hard time’ at Lyon so far.
