One West Ham summer signing looks frighteningly explosive in behind the scenes training video

One West Ham summer signing looks frighteningly explosive in behind the scenes training video. Most of the West Ham United players are being put through their paces in training during the international break.

With some tough games on the horizon for West Ham against Fulham, Chelsea, Liverpool, Brentford and Ipswich to come after the international break is over, Julen Lopetegui will be keen to get his players in peak physical condition.

It was a whirlwind summer transfer window for the Hammers, with Lopetegui bringing in nine new signings. The West Ham head coach oversaw numerous exits from the London Stadium as well, including four players leaving on loan on deadline day.

Lopetegui now has a lot of work to do during the two-week international break, and it will be crucial for him to find a way of getting all of his new signings to gel together. I must say though, one new-boy looked in absolutely frightening form during training today…

West Ham summer signing looks frighteningly explosive in training

Lopetegui brought in some truly top-class players this summer. The squad at the London Stadium now is unrecognisable from the one that the Spaniard inherited from David Moyes.

One of the new arrivals has impressed me more than all the others already though. Aaron Wan-Bissaka joined the Hammers from Manchester United for just £15 million last month – what an incredible steal that was.

He has looked sensational already and the fact that West Ham had a free run at signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka is mind-boggling. The 26-year-old will completely transform our team and the way that we play – he’s a monumental upgrade on Vladimir Coufal.

If today’s training session is anything to go by, we have an absolute machine on our hands in the form of the ex-Manchester United right-back. You can see Wan-Bissaka in all his glory in the below video on the 3:21 mark, via West Ham’s YouTube channel:

Just look at Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s pace and power in that clip above. It’s something that Coufal is not capable of, and he will cause all sorts of problems for the Hammers this season.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be unreal for West Ham

I actually think he will prove to be our best and most important signing of the summer. It’s clear to see that he’s streets ahead of Vladimir Coufal, what with his blistering pace, athleticism and outstanding defending.

His performances against Bournemouth and Manchester City last week offered everyone a glimpse of what he has to offer. The 26-year-old defended incredibly well in both games and looked dangerous going forward.

He was involved in some wonderful passages of play down the left and right-hand flanks, and he showed what he’s all about on numerous occasions when he used his incredible recovery pace to cut out counter-attacks from the Cherries and the Cityzens.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will help take this West Ham team to another level entirely, and his presence in the team will enable us to press more aggressively and higher up the pitch.

I genuinely still can’t believe the fact that we seemingly had such an easy time signing him this summer.
