The Hammers are pressing on with their plans to improve the squad with the season just a few weeks away now. The signings of Max Kilman and Luis Guilherme have been welcomed by manager Julen Lopetegui but he wants even more to kick on properly.
Thankfully for West Ham fans and Lopetegui, it looks like the Hammers board are going to deliver on not one but two deals over the weekend.
West Ham to complete Guido Rodriguez and Niclas Fullkrug medicals
According to Fabrizio Romano over on X, the Hammers are ready to complete the medical tests for both Fullkrug and Rodriguez today.

Fullkrug is set to be a big money signing after having a superb season in Germany last season.
Rodriguez, meanwhile, has emerged as a surprise signing after the Hammers swooped in to land him on a free when a move to Barcelona broke down.
With no hitches in the medicals expected and terms agreed, West Ham could announce two new signings in one day. It’s been a bit of a slow window for West Ham really but if they get deals for Fullkrug and Rodriguez done and dusted then suddenly things look better.
The signing of Luis Guilherme is an exciting one but he is a young man who needs time, so experienced players like Fullkrug and Rodriguez arriving is a big plus for the team.
It very much remains to be seen how well the Hammers will do under Lopetegui. For years now we’ve become accustomed to them being hard to play against under David Moyes but that has never quite been enough for the fans. The new boss, then, needs to hit the ground running really and these new signings will help that.
