Mark Noble has lifted the lid on the power of Tim Steidten at West Ham with a Mohammed Kudus transfer revelation.
Sitting sixth in the Premier League and in the last 16 of the Europa League again, it is fair to say West Ham are certainly exceeding expectations so far this season.

Given the dalliance with relegation last season, West Ham fans were understandably worried.
But fast forward to present day and my how the Hammers have proved so many wrong.
Steidten and Moyes found some middleground and went on to help West Ham use the Rice money expertly, bringing in Edson Alvarez, James Ward-Prowse, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Mohammed Kudus for a combined total of £122m.

The way Kudus is playing he is probably worth close to that figure on his own now.
West Ham fans will remember the Kudus deal was a protracted one which the club uncharacteristically got over the line.
And it seems that £38m deal to bring star boy Kudus to east London was Steidten’s primary objective from day one at West Ham. That’s according to the club’s sporting director.

‘We spoke in depth’
Speaking on TNT Sports Discovery Plus during the win over Man United – in which Kudus scored his 10th goal for the Hammers – Noble revealed Steidten was selling his Kudus vision to Moyes and co as soon as he arrived.
“We knew what Mo could do when we brought him to the club, he’s a fantastic player,” Noble said.
“When Tim came to the club we spoke in depth about Kudus and he knew what he could do.
“We didn’t actually think he was going to be as good as what he is at the minute because it’s quite hard to hit the ground running in the Premier League as a lot of teams are finding.
“But the three of them (Kudus, Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta) are top, top (drawer).”
