West Ham are currently in pole position to sign Daniel Cummings from Celtic at the end of the season, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
The 18-year old striker, who turns 19 this April, is highly rated by Celtic who are known to be very disappointed that they have been unable to secure his future at Celtic Park.
As has been reported for a number of weeks by our club insider, Cummings has been in talks with West Ham over a potential deal, which the club were aiming to conclude in the January transfer window.
A deal however could not be reached, with Cummings now expected to complete his move to West Ham at the end of the season, with Ex advising that the deal is now all but complete, as Mark Noble leads the pursuit for the forward.
“Mark Noble has been key in the talks for Daniel Cummings, with the player understood to be set on joining West Ham once this season is over.
“A medical is needed and is likely to be undertaken ahead of the player putting pen to paper at the end of the season, and then becoming a West Ham player in July this year.”
Ex though did stress that although the deal is now ‘all but done’, the player is still yet to put pen to paper.
At this stage however, its highly expected that Cummings will become a West Ham player this summer, which is a huge boost for the club and in particular Noble, who has lead the charge to bring the striker to east London.
