Wolves have allegedly already approached Max Allegri, but he is believed to favour a move to West Ham. The West Ham job could soon become available, with Julen Lopetegui currently under intense pressure at the London Stadium.
If the Hammers lose away at Bournemouth tonight, Lopetegui will almost certainly be sacked.
In my mind, Allegri would be a great replacement for Lopetegui, and he would undoubtedly be a major upgrade on the Spaniard. His intensity on the touchline alone would instil much more energy into the way that our team play.
However, a big update has been provided today about where the 57-year-old might end up next.

So it seems like the Hammers face a real uphill struggle, if we are to appoint the Italian serial winner. That’s because Sempre Milan are claiming that Allegri could be set to return to AC Milan – the team he managed to the Serie A title during the 2010/11 season.
In fact, the 57-year-old has apparently held talks with the Rossoneri about a sensational return to the San Siro.
Now, that will obviously have a knock-on effect for West Ham. If it’s a straight choice between the Hammers and Milan, I’m sure I know what team Allegri will be picking.
So if West Ham really want to appoint the former Juventus boss, the owners had better act fast.
The Italian is a real proven winner, and he would undoubtedly get this underperforming group of players back on track. Allegri excels when organising his teams defensively, and that’s exactly what we need at the London Stadium.
The Hammers defence has been incredibly porous for around 12 months now, and that has to change if we are ever to achieve success.
The former Juventus and AC Milan manager, who has led his teams to six league titles since 2011, is incredibly intense.
He will never settle for anything less than 100% commitment from his players.
The Italian is currently out of work, so his availability on a free transfer means that he will undoubtedly appeal to David Sullivan.
However, with AC Milan now in the hunt for Max Allegri, West Ham will face no easy task bringing him to the London Stadium.
