It seems like he’d be a Juventus player now if he had his way. According to Tuttomercatoweb, Todibo was ‘forced’ to join the Hammers in the summer.
That’s because West Ham outbid Juventus in the race to sign the 24-year-old centre-back. We have an obligation to buy him for £34 million in the summer according to TMW.
To me, it seems like West Ham centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo is the kind of player who will jump ship at the first opportunity he gets.
I really hope I’m wrong, and we have him at the London Stadium for another two or three years at least, but I just can’t see it unfortunately. It will be very interesting to see what happens if a Champions League club comes in to sign him after we’ve made his move permanent in the summer.
