Leicester reached the final and won the Premier League Cup u.16. Man City were defeated 2-1 at King Power. This shows what the potential could be for the next generation of talent at this football club.
At this point you can say Leicester have the most promising group of players in England for this age group, that is magnificant, but still they need to keep their talents and hopefully convince them to stay on as they develop and not be triggered by the bigger and better coming around to give them offers to good to turn down.
Trey Nyoni, left Leicester to join Liverpool last summer. A potential GOAT to be, if he had stayed at the club. He is not surprisingly making an impact at Anfield allready, given his first team debut in the FA Cup this season, at the age of just 16.
To see Leicester then reaching the final of this cup as well as winning the trophy, makes it easy to understand what is going on at this football club, as we do see a grand potential among players. We have seen some fantastic proof of this grand job also in the past, easy to be reminded of Harvey Barnes, Ben Chilwell, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Luke Thomas and Hamza Choudhury all taken their steps and made it to the highest level.
One player stood out on the day vs. Man City, Jake Evans. His talent is known and he has featured in the U.18 team this season. He is said have the mindset of a professional footballer and one that could soon be seen in the first team frame. He has played 14 games and scored 6 goals this season in the league for the U.18’s, so surely looks to be on a path and hopefully not having eyes on other options as his future at Leicester looks promising.

Leicester will send their U.14 team to Norway to play in the popular Flint Micasa Cup. Former winners are Aberdeen and Leeds, as this has grown to become a very popular event among British clubs travelling over for this happening as a good final on the season. The tournement will be played from the 18th to the 20th of May.
Leicester are in a group with the U.14 teams of host club Flint Tonsberg, Norwegian top tier club Odd Skien, Oslo region clubs Fjellhamar and GUI.
Liverpool and Arsenal played the final of the U.14 tournament last season, Liverpool 3-0 winners in the end. Liverpool are back this season, and besides Leicester, Hearts are the third team to enter this competition from the UK. The tournament is played in a Multilevel Tournament Concept as it will give all teams an equal chance to get a good experience.
