Leicester City look pathetic as new Leeds United video clip emerges on social media. Leeds United and Leicester City have been locked in an intriguing battle for promotion, but the latter have now made themselves look pathetic after a video clip emerged recently.
The Foxes secured the Championship title with a 3-0 win over Plymouth Argyle on Monday 29 April, leaving just one automatic promotion spot for Leeds and Ipswich Town to battle over.
Championship predictions: Will Ipswich…
While all three sides slipped up during the end-of-season run-in, the Tractor Boys are currently in prime position to pip the Whites to second place after a tough run of results at Elland Road.
Despite a dramatic 4-3 victory against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium, Leeds have lost three of their last five matches, including a damaging 4-0 loss to QPR on Friday 26 April.
With it looking more and more likely that Daniel Farke’s side will require the play-offs to earn promotion to the Premier League, a video has emerged of the Leicester team poking fun at Leeds’ recent form.
In a video posted via X by FosseHub on Wednesday (1 May), Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was seen conducting a rendition of ‘Leeds are falling apart again’ at the club’s end-of-season awards with his teammates and staff members.
Leeds United must take inspiration from Leicester City digs
For those who remember Euro 2016, this will remind some of the Wales squad’s reaction to being knocked out of the tournament by Iceland, doing the Viking Clap in celebration.
Especially considering the financial issues surrounding the King Power Stadium, and punishments being mooted for some of their spending, it seems foolish to already be boasting to Leeds.
Farke’s squad will certainly be less than satisfied with their recent performances, with it looking likely that they will have to settle for the Championship play-offs rather than secure automatic promotion.
If this is the case come the end of the season, Leeds must take inspiration from this very video, and maybe even use it to rile them up in the dressing room before a match.

The Whites have been absolutely incredible this season, especially at Elland Road, having waited until April to taste a home defeat in the league.
It would be a massive shame if Leeds were unable to battle through the play-offs and show off their talents in the top tier of English football, having already fought against Chelse in the FA Cup earlier this season.
In other Leeds United news, Simon Rix has made a Patrick Bamford “problem” admission.
