West Ham United duo Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus blow away journalist ahead of Freiburg clash
West Ham duo Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta produced insane touches in the build up to the SC Freiburg Europa League clash, according to Jordan Davies.
The Sun journalist who spotted them in action, also noticed Nayef Aguerd getting specific training ahead of the contest.
The Moroccan has not enjoyed the best of starts to the season and will be hoping for better performances in the coming weeks.
Via Twitter, Davies wrote, “Warm-up observations: Tim Steidten and Mark Noble taking huge interest, speaking with David Moyes briefly on the pitch. Nayef Aguerd 1-on-1 work with Johnny Heitinga on cross-field passes. Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta producing insane touches.”
Impressive?
Paqueta’s ability to seamlessly transition between midfield roles and contribute defensively showcases his well-rounded prowess and why the Hammers were so reluctant to lose him this summer.
With remarkable vision and a deft touch, he’s capable of unlocking even the most stubborn defences. His work rate, determination, and dedication to the game make him a valuable asset to any team.
Hopefully, Manchester City do not come back in for him in January as he’s certainly started the season brilliantly.
Even with Kudus, it’s about time that David Moyes gives him more minutes in the first team as he’s a top talent and has proven it.
He’s bagged goals in the Champions League against sides like Napoli and Liverpool so he clearly deserves to be playing more than he is.
