“I know most fans don’t love me anymore but I can’t hold it”: Harry Kane just sent an advice-message to Tottenham ahead of Arsenal clash

The former Spurs man has been speaking about his old club during a press conference for Bayern Munich’s Champions League clash with Manchester United

Tottenham Hotspur will never be far away from Harry Kane’s thoughts. That is according to the man himself and it is no surprise to hear really, given his connection with the club.

Kane left Spurs in the summer, in a £100million deal to join Bayern Munich as he came towards the end of his contract in north London. Prior to that, the striker had known little else but Tottenham.

Now at Bayern Munich, Kane will face a familiar foe this week when the Champions League group stage starts up. The German giants have been drawn alongside Manchester United in the groups and that is the first game, taking place at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

Speaking ahead of the game, Kane was asked about Spurs, who have started the Premier League season well under new boss Ange Postecoglou. Spurs have won four and drawn one of their opening five games to sit second in the table, just behind Manchester City – the only club with a 100% record so far this season.

Spurs take on old rivals Arsenal in the North London Derby this weekend, and Kane could not help mentioning the “massive” match coming up this weekend.

He said: “Fantastic start, I am always keeping an eye on them and I think I will for the rest of my life. I am really happy to see the team playing the way they are and of course to see the fans happy as well is a great thing.

“I am sure they will be excited to keep it up and they have a massive game coming up, so for sure I will see how they get on over the course of the season.”
