However, whilst it has been widely claimed that the former Chelsea boss has been offered the role, I feel like it’s been taken for granted by all of us that he will accept accept the deal.
Now The Times have lifted the lid on what Potter has told Sullivan in response to the contract offer.
He has allegedly asked Hammers chiefs for 24 hours to consider his decision.
So we should have a definitive answer regarding whether Graham Potter will be the new West Ham manager by the end of play today.
I believe the 49-year-old will take us to another level entirely, if he does accept the job.
However, it will take time for him to bed in his ideas at the London Stadium – positive change never happens over night remember.
We all need to be patient with Graham Potter. As long as he’s given time and is backed by the board in the transfer market, the future will be very bright for West Ham, I have no doubts about that.
