Jarrod Bowen told reporters how hard it is to get a result away at Everton, due to the vociferous support of the Goodison Park faithful, and he is spot on.
However, that doesn’t make throwing away a lead in the last minute of normal time any easier to swallow. Potter has to find a way of drilling more of a winning mentality into the players at the London Stadium.

The Hammers are said to be prepared to sell Konstantinos Mavropanos this summer.
That will 100% be the correct call.
However, Graham Potter’s dangerous obsession with West Ham centre-back Konstantinos Mavropanos will end up being the gaffer’s downfall, if he doesn’t cotton on to how bad the 27-year-old really is. He lets us down time and time again at some point in each game when it actually matters, regardless of how solid he has performed throughout the match.

Potter shared why he started Mavropanos against the Toffees, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“We just felt that we needed Dinos’ physicality. They’re a big team, Everton, and they used that well.”
Now, Potter may not have meant anything by those comments, but he has inadvertently shown Dinos the door right there.
The fact that Mavropanos was only used for his physicality, but then was to blame for being bullied by Jake O’Brien for their equaliser, tells all all we need to know about his future at the London Stadium.
The Hammers boss must have been fuming behind closed doors with the fact that he selected Dinos for his physicality, only for that to happen.
Signed for £20 million in 2023, his stay at the London Stadium is surely coming to an end now.
West Ham eyeing stunning Konstantinos Mavropanos replacement
If the Hammers are to ever fully reach their potential under Potter, a huge upgrade on Mavropanos is required.
The good news is that it seems like that is exactly what will happen this summer.
That’s because Potter said to be eyeing up a move to sign Genoa star Koni De Winter, with West Ham keen to sell Konstantinos Mavropanos.
The 22-year-old is head and shoulders above the Greek centre-back in every way.
If West Ham manage to sign De Winter this summer, and sell Mavropanos, we will be in a much stronger position heading into the new season.
