Exciting news for Totteham as injured player nears return. Injured Tottenham player is training on grass again as he nears a return
Tottenham have posted a video on Instagram of Ryan Sessegnon training outdoors on the Hotspur Way pitches as the left-back steps up his rehabilitation.
Ange Postecoglou seems to have navigated the worst period of Tottenham’s injury crisis, with players now returning one by one.
While the likes of Micky van de Ven, James Maddison, Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic remain out with long-term injuries, the Australian has been able to welcome back both Richarlison and Cristian Romero (from his suspension) recently.
Postecoglou also revealed a few days ago that he is hopeful Pape Matar Sarr will be fully fit by the end of this week after he made a cameo against West Ham (Alasdair Gold).
There has been more good news over recent days, with reports revealing that Sessegnon is around two weeks away from a return (Football.London).

Sessegnon training outdoors again for Tottenham
The former Fulham man has been out with a hamstring injury right from the start of pre-season, and Postecolgou has thus not been able to take a good look at him in the training ground.
However, it now appears to be only a matter of time before Sessegnon returns to full training, with Spurs sharing a video of him training outdoors.
The video on Instagram shows the 23-year-old doing some light drills in the Hotspur Way pitches, with the left-back appearing to move quite comfortably.

It cannot have been easily mentally for Sessegnon to break down in the manner he did right at the start of pre-season, especially given the bad luck he has had with injuries since joining Tottenham.
Hopefully, the muscle issues are now behind the young full-back, who can now focus on gettinghis career back on track.
