According to reports, Clement Lenglet will now complete a permanent transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, hence he has been excluded from Barcelona training.
Due to rumors of a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona has exempted Clement Lenglet from first-team practice until next week.
Barca have confirmed on their official website that Lenglet was not part of their return to pre-season training on Monday.
It’s stated that Lenglet will not be required to show up for training until July 18th – a week from today.
Lenglet did arrive for medical tests on Monday but that was all as Xavi keeps his out of first-team training plans.
The only logical explanation here is that Lenglet is being given time away to complete a transfer – and that brings Tottenham into play.
