West Ham are progressing with talks for Borussia Dortmund forward Niclas Fullkrug, according to reports. The club have identified bringing in a new striker this summer a top priority, and to date have been frustrated in our pursuit of Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran.
Our Hammers have seen all bids for the Columbian international so far rejected by the midlands club, with it understood that attentions are now somewhat turning elsewhere following the latest knockback.

As was reported on The West Ham Way Patreon, the club have since identified German international striker Fullkrug as a possible option, with Sky Sports reporter and friend of The West Ham Way Dharmesh Sheth advising that talks for the forward have thus far been positive.
“West Ham United have opened talks with Borussia Dortmund over the signing of striker Niclas Fullkrug,” stated Dharmesh, as reported by Hammers News.
“West Ham are discussing the conditions of a deal.. It is understood Fullkrug is open to the move and personal terms are not expected to be an issue.”
The club are continuing to work on deals to further strengthen the squad ahead of the new season, with ExWHUEmployee providing updates on Patreon.
