Journalist Paul Brown has said that Tottenham Hotspur have already decided that they will offload Tanguy Ndombele following his loan spell at Galatasaray.
There was some hope among Spurs fans during the summer that Ndombele would be able to revive his Tottenham career under Ange Postecoglou.
However, much like his predecessors, the Australian decided that the midfielder was not part of his plans, with the Frenchman being loaned out to Turkey.
He has struggled to make much of an impact at Galatasaray since his move, with some reports at the start of the month suggesting that the Istanbul club were not happy with the player’s attitude and his fitness condition.
However, it was reported by Milliyet earlier this week that manager Okan Buruk had a ‘special meeting’ with Ndombele during the international break and there is renewed optimism at the club that the midfielder could turn his fortunes around.
Ndombele will not see a Lo Celso-like revival
Irrespective of how well Ndombele does at Rams Park for the rest of the season, Brown believes that the former Lyon man has no future at Spurs.
The journalist told GiveMeSport: “Never say never and Ange Postecoglou is not the kind of manager who likes to freeze people out, but Tanguy Ndombele has had so many chances under so many managers and never been able to produce what he’s capable of, that I think Spurs are only too willing to wash their hands of him, really.
“I think a decision has been made at the board level that he’s free to leave and they will take as much as they can get for him, frankly. So I think it’s unlikely on that basis that he ever plays for Tottenham again.”
