Tottenham summer signing Manor Solomon has sparked controversy with a series of posts on his Instagram account in relation to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.
The world was shocked last night when a hospital was bombed in Palestine killing over 500 innocent civilians, mostly doctors, women and children, just days after Israel had threatened to bomb the hospitals.
But Solomon’s post has caused quite a stir as he accused Hamas for the bombing its own people and blaming Israel for it.
He posted a picture of the blast with the post carrying a statement from the Israeli forces suggesting that the explosion at the Al Ahli hospital was caused by a failed rocket launch by Palestinian resistance group.
He followed it with several more posts, with him being quite vocal of his support with the Israeli regime.
This triggered fans to quickly point out the hypocrisy since several Muslim players have so far been suspended by their respective clubs for their support of the Palestinian people against the aggression.
One fan posted on X calling for Spurs to drop the player from the squad.

Several others pointed out the double standards shown in regards to the reaction to posts from players in support of Palestine and those who are posting in support of Israel.

Youcef Atal & Anwar El Ghazi have both been suspended by their clubs for showing their support to Palestine online.
Manor Solomon consistently posts propaganda on his socials including a mockery of the hospital attack. Nothing. Zinchenko, nothing.

Former Aston Villa and Everton player Anwar El Ghazi has become the latest player to be suspended for his Instagram post in support of Palestine.
Similarly Bayern Munich put out a statement condemning their player Noussair Mazraoui’s post in support of Palestine and called for an investigation regarding it.
The conflict has so far seen a huge number of innocents lose their lives. How many more people need to die? Here is to hoping that there is peace in the world and humanity prevails!
