Big Sullivan and Steidten claim in five star West Ham transfer update

A big claim has been made about David Sullivan and Tim Steidten in a five star West Ham United transfer update.

The clock is now well and truly ticking ahead of the closure of the January transfer window for West Ham.

The Hammers have negotiated three transfer deals involving first team players thus far.

High earner Thilo Kehrer was shipped out on loan to Monaco with easily achievable clauses to make the move permanent at around £10m in the summer.

Conor Coventry was sold to Charlton for an undisclosed fee.

And West Ham made their first signing of the window with the arrival of Kalvin Phillips on loan from Man City this weekend.

Big Sullivan and Steidten claim in five star update

Youngster Callum Marshall is not an established first team player. But another significant deal is his loan to West Brom after he put pen to paper on a new Hammers contract.

Ideally West Ham need to sign a defender and at least one attacking player before the window closes on Thursday night.

That’s the same night David Moyes’ side will be facing Bournemouth at home in the Premier League.

That means the manager will be very much focused on the match, leaving key figures above him to try and get deals over the line before the clock strikes 11pm.

Now a big David Sullivan and Tim Steidten claim has been made in a five star West Ham transfer update.

    Three in and two out?

And it could be a case of three stars in and two more out according to Claret and Hugh’s Hughie Southon.

The board confidant is close with majority owner Sullivan and claims deals could be in the pipeline for West Ham to sign Nordsjælland’s Ibrahim Osman, Norwich and England Under 21 star Jonathan Rowe and Newcastle striker Callum Wilson.

Meanwhile the Hammers look likely to offload Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals.

And he has advised fans to keep their eyes peeled pitchside and on the West Ham director’s box at the London Stadium before and during the Cherries clash for telltale clues.

Technical director Steidten and Moyes can usually be seen sharing a pre-match chat on the pitch before games.

And Sullivan is always in the box for Hammers matches.

    Look for clues says confidant

Should there be any change to those routines on Thursday – you can bet your bottom dollar deals are being worked on, Southon states.

“There is plenty of chat – as always – about who could be here by the day the window closes,” Southon reports.

“The likes of Ibrahim Osman, Jonathon Rowe, and even Callum Wilson have been mentioned – whether all, any, or none of them are here we wait and see…

“So look for clues next Thursday – will Sullivan be seated in his usual position? Will Tim Steidten join David Moyes for the warm ups as he has done all season? Will any new players other than Phillips have arrived?

“The absence of both the main shareholder and technical director from the match will tell us much!”

One thing is for certain when it comes to West Ham, it certainly won’t be dull over the next few days.

West Ham’s top senior inside source told Hammers News this week that a bid for Ghanaian wing wizard Osman was rejected.

Norwich’s versatile attacker Rowe is very much a target according to a host of sources.

And Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has admitted Wilson moving to West Ham ‘could be out of his hands’ amid the links.
