Back-to-back Goal of the Month award wins for Sonny

Heung-Min’s Son has collected his second consecutive Club Goal of the Month award, winning the October edition of the prize for his strike in our 2-1 win at Crystal Palace.

As voted by you, the fans, Sonny’s clinical finish to crown a stunning team move at Selhurst Park has come top of the poll ran last week on tottenhamhotspur.com and our official app.

Having broken the deadlock in south London through an own goal on 53 minutes, we then doubled our advantage 13 minutes later as a sweeping move from front to back was eventually finished off by the South Korean international as we secured our fourth win on the spin.

Our number seven’s strike against the Eagles won the contest with a healthy majority, taking 49 per cent of the vote. His curling effort at home to Fulham four days earlier came in second spot (29 per cent) while Micky van de Ven’s first strike in our colours came in third (nine per cent).

“already being talked about” – Manchester United urged to make move for ‘world class’ Tottenham man

Manchester United’s turbulent start to the Premier League season has placed pressure on manager Erik ten Hag.

The team currently sits in 8th place, having lost five of their 11 games. Pressure is piling on Erik ten Hag as the problems on and off the pitch continue.

In his short time at United, he has fallen out with Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho. He also stripped Harry Maguire from his captaincy.

This suggests that the relationship with the players may not be the best. Furthermore, Ten Hag recently remarked that Manchester United fans should not expect his team to replicate the playing style of his former club, Ajax, as he believes the squad lacks the necessary quality.

In contrast, Tottenham Hotspur, under the guidance of Ange Postecoglou, have enjoyed an impressive start to the season.

The team is unbeaten in the league, with every player performing at their best.

Postecoglou’s positive influence on and off the pitch has been evident, and the club’s performances reflect the improved atmosphere surrounding the team.

The impact that Ange has made has not gone unnoticed with suggestions that he could be an ideal manager for another top club down the line.

Some, like Miguel Delaney, believe that Manchester United should consider Postecoglou as a potential replacement for Ten Hag down the line.

Delaney described Postecoglou as “world-class” and suggested that he is already being discussed in football circles as a candidate for the manager’s role at United.

Delaney wrote in his column for The Independent:

“Big-club experience is of course important at that level but it says much that Postecoglou is already being talked about in the game as someone Manchester United should think about in the future.”

    TBH Says:

Ange has just started his project with Tottenham and he is not going anywhere. What he has done in just a couple of months has been incredible.

The fans love him, the players love him and the board loves him.

Even if he is to move on way down the line, we highly doubt it is going to be for another Premier League club.
