Despite the team’s dismal displays, Nedeljkovic was probably Villa’s best player in pre-season and now he is ready to showcase his worth on the Premier League stage. The 18-year-old joined the club in January from Red Star Belgrade, but returned on loan before being part of Aston Villa’s pre-season plans this summer.
Nedeljkovic has been hailed as ‘incredible’ for Villa, as fans are excited by what he can bring to the club ahead of the new campaign. The arrival of Nedeljkovic is bad news for Matty Cash, who didn’t feature for Emery as they were beaten in their final pre-season game at Borussia Dortmund.
That’s probably a sign of who will start at the weekend, with West Ham signing some high-quality players and set to be a very tough test at the London Stadium. Nonetheless, ahead of that match, Nedeljkovic simply posed one word on his Instagram ‘dream’ added with a picture of him in the Villa kit.
