“Are considering” | West Ham could place young prospect on loan due to potentially limited game time. There could be a massive negative to West Ham having so many brilliant attackers at their disposal.

Although their frontline was already brilliant, West Ham have managed to take it to the next level this Summer. Not only have they signed a top quality striker in Niclas Fullkrug, but they’ve also signed one of the Championship’s best players in Summerville. Without European football this season, there’s not as many opportunities to rotate which has raised questions about how Julen Lopetegui will fit all these players in; it’s not a bad issue to have though.
However, with that being said, there are some issues to be had. On top of the previously mentioned duo, they’ve also signed Luis Guilherme for £25 million. While he may not be a starter, for that price you’d expect him to at least get some minutes.

Unfortunately, this could have a massive knock on effect on the development of George Earthy. Despite him beginning to get some first-team minutes at the end of last season, he may now struggle to do that in the coming season. As a result, the club are considering placing him on loan in order to get him better prepared for Premier League football, Claret and Hugh reports.
Given how much he impressed in the limited game time he did have, it shouldn’t be too hard to find a top Championship side or even a foreign top division side to give him consistent starts. If that does happen, hopefully he comes back with the experience he needs to fight for a place in the starting XI.
