Tottenham Hotspur get their pre-season up and running properly later today with their first official friendly against Hearts of Midlothian.
Ange Postecoglou watched his side demolish Cambridge United on the weekend in a behind closed doors friendly at Hotspur Way.
However, Spurs fans will get to see their side take to the pitch for the first time this summer in Edinburgh at Tynecastle.
The Australian will have two new faces to try out against the Scottish side tonight with Archie Gray having signed this summer and Lucas Bergvall finally joining up with the squad.
This will also provide some of the promising Tottenham youngsters with an opportunity to shine and it seems one, in particular, has been selected for the matchday squad.

Spurs have a busy pre-season lined up with six official matches planned for the squad across the world.
Following the game against Hearts and Queens Park Rangers, Spurs will be preparing for their Asian tour in which they will be playing in both Japan and South Korean.
Heung-min Son will be the face of the South Korean tour as Spurs play the K-League All Stars and Bayern Munich.
Bizarrely, Spurs will then take on Bayern again at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in what is expected to be an opportunity to properly bid farewell to Harry Kane.
Earlier on Wednesday, Spurs posted a video to their X account showing the players boarding the flight up to Edinburgh.
Seemingly, the players were travelling on the day of the game as opposed to travelling up the night before.
The eagle-eyed will have spotted young Spurs striker Will Lankshear among the players to have made the journey up to Scotland
There were a number of familiar faces making the squad, but there will be a lot of excitement to potentially see some of the club’s most promising young prospects feature.

The Spurs U21s striker enjoyed a stunning 2023/24 campaign in the Premier League 2 where he was able to provide a return of 18 goals in 19 appearances.
He has already been hailed as ‘brilliant‘ and has recently put pen to paper on a new deal to see his future through to 2029 in north London.
His inclusion in the squad for the Hearts game comes at a time when Spurs are in desperate need of a new striker following Kane’s exit last summer.
Richarlison had a 2023/24 season filled with injury issues and has shown he is not exactly a player Postecoglou can rely upon.
It may still be very early days in Lankshear’s career, but if he can put in a good pre-season then who knows what could come from it.
