West Ham United continue to be linked with Hugo Ekitike ahead of the January transfer window. The Hammers are desperate for a new striker, with Michail Antonio still not ready to return from injury.
In November, a report from TEAMtalk claimed that West Ham feel they can give Ekitike what he wants in terms of game time at the London Stadium.
Now, a report from Le Parisien suggests that the Hammers and other suitors have another shot at signing the Paris Saint-Germain striker.
The report claims Ekitike and Layvin Kurzawa are in line to be offloaded in the January transfer window, with the Champions League last-16 side set to bring new players in.
Ekitike ‘maintains a good rating in England’, where another loan move would be considered ‘a good deal’ for all involved. Indeed, Le Parisien say that is the best PSG can still hope for.

All in all, the Hammers and Ekitike seem like a good match. West Ham desperately need reinforcements at centre-forward, so he’s extremely likely to get game time.
Joining France’s biggest club – and reigning champions – was certainly worth a shout, but he’s simply not getting a look-in, and so he needs to go.
If Ekitike joins West Ham, they’d be getting themselves ‘one of Europe’s most highly-rated young players‘.
