It’s a disappointing turnout for the Hammers v Freiburg with less than 50,000 tickets have been sold for the Hammers v Freiburg clash.
Many tickets are still available despite the importance of the Group A game against the Bundesliga outfit . Whether this is because Christmas is just around the corner or as a result of the shocking defeat at Fulham is unclear,
But so far only 47,000 tickets have been sold for a game in which the Hammers need a win or draw to remain on to of the group.
The club had been looking for a minimum of around 57,000 or so there was major disappointment when we spoke to insiders this evening.
We were told: “It really is so disappointing given the importance of the match which could set up a great climax to the season. We expected something much closer to 60,000 and it is difficult to understand why we are so short.”
However it means that you can be there with tickets still on general sale with prices starting at just £10 for Under-18s and £30 Adults for Season Ticket Holders.
